Commun principles of flexicurity 2007

The document reviews the latest experiences in the field of labour market policies and flexicurity of the european member states and explores 8 commun principles. The text does not resolve the paradoxe of commun EU principles on the one hand, but national policies concerning labour and social norms ont the other hand. It is known that these fields do not take part of the community identity, but of the national competences of the member states (rule of subsidiarity). Nevertheless, the document finds that the flexicurity policies are producing high employement rates and low relative poverty rates all over Europe.
